In 2011, I enroled in the Master of Learning Science and Technology course at the University of Sydney. What prompted this decision was the interest in embedding eLearning in teaching and learning at the school where I had been teaching since 2007. As a secondary school Visual Arts teacher, I began working as an eLearning Coordinator in 2009, which inspired me to delve into research about social networking and learning, inquiry based learning and the shift in pedagogy since the introduction of 1:1 laptop environment in schools.
